Aim of the Course

The lecture deals with the phases and strategies of machinery management and asset management as well as with the development and importance of maintenance, reliability and availability, maintenance cost accounting and plant procurement. Furthermore, the lecture deals with operator models, maintenance planning and control, logistics in maintenance, start-up of production systems, potential analysis of production plants in series operation, maintenance-oriented design and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

The contents are discussed on the basis of current problems and are deepened by exercises.

Organisational Details

Dates

The lecture will take place online via Big Blue Button from 13.10.2020. The lecture is always held on Tuesdays from 5.00 - 6.30 pm. The seminars will only take place on certain dates on Tuesdays from 3.30 - 5.00 pm, which will be announced in the first lecture on 13.10.

Current information and changes will be announced in the lectures or published via Stud.IP in the lecture room. 

Exams**

The exam date for the subject Machinery Management in winter term 20/21 has not yet been fixed, but will be announced here in time.
